The Treatment ‘Generation Me’

“Generation Me” is the third full length album from British hard rockers The Treatment.  The new album is the first to feature vocalist Mitchel Emms and guitarist Tao Grey.  It’s also the first for their new label, Frontiers Records.

With the new changes, the band has really come into their own with a collection of solid hard rock tunes.  From the hard driving “Let It Begin” to the ferocious pace of “Tell Us the Truth,” the guitars of brothers Tagore and Tao Grey are on the attack.  The title track is a pure hard rock anthem and the funky AC/DC type riff of “The Devil” will have you grooving along.  In fact, the AC/DC vibe is underlying many of the songs including “Cry Tough” and “Bloodsucker.”  Frontman Emms is more than a capable vocalist and really shines on the laid-back vibe of “Backseat Heartbeat.”  The sound quality is outstanding with the help of producer Laurie Mansworth and Tony Newton (Iron Maiden) handling the mix. The songs are catchy with sing along choruses and you won’t want to miss the bluesy, down and dirty feel of “Better Think Again.”

If you’re itching for a hard rock fix, “Generation Me” and The Treatment may be just what the doctor ordered.
