Guitarist extraordinaire Monte Pittman is about to release his fourth solo album and second for Metal Blade Records “Inverted Grasp of Balance.” The new record is an absolute metal powerhouse with thrashy riffs and out of this world solos. Not only is he a superb guitarist, he also is a gifted songwriter and talented vocalist with his talent shining through on this album. But Pittman is a lot more than metal. He has been recording and touring as Madonna’s guitarist since 2001, even giving her guitar lessons in advance of their tours. If that wasn’t enough to keep him busy, Monte joined the LA KISS Arena Football house band this past summer.
