The Pretty Reckless first made a splash in the rock and roll scene back in 2010 with their first studio album “Light Me Up” which spawned several hit singles including the lead single “Make Me Wanna Die.” Frontwoman and lead vocalist Taylor Momsen, however, was no stranger to the spotlight. She began modeling and acting at a very young age and became well known for her portrayal of Jenny Humphrey in the hit television series “Gossip Girl.” Momsen’s true passion was for music and after several seasons, she quit the show in order to fully pursue a career in rock and roll. The band spent the next several years recording and touring and have recently released their third full length studio album “Who You Selling For” which is full of blues infused rockers and Momsen’s sultry vocals. Currently in the midst of a headlining tour here in the States, the band will head overseas early next year for tour stops in the UK and most of Europe. BackstageAxxess recently had the chance to speak with Taylor and get the inside scoop on the new album and tour.
