Venerable home-grown prog-rockers Saga returned to Toronto this past Wednesday, May 27, to a full house at the Mod Club on College St. West. Touring on the heels of their new release, The Human Condition, the band, just landing from the first leg of their European tour, were greeted by an enthusiastic and dedicated crowd. Veteran band mates Jim Crichton (bass, keyboards), Ian Crichton (lead guitar) and Jim Gilmour (keyboards, clarinet, vocals) along with Chris Sutherland (drums) were joined by new lead vocalist Rob Moratti, who proved to his hometown fans that he has the pipes and can deliver the goods. A frothy mix of new tunes and classic favorites made for fresh yet retro rockin’ good night! The Saga continues…
