Country legend Tanya Tucker brought her show to the Seneca Allegany Events Center to a near capacity crowd. Tanya appeared in an all black ensemble that consisted of leather pants, blouse, and an occasional fedora. She also wore a silver belt to complete the ensemble. All smiles and dancing to the music, Tanya started off with Trouble from her 1992 platinum album, What Do I Do with Me.

Despite her ear monitor not working properly at one point, it seemed the rest of the performance went off without a hitch. Her 6-piece band was tight and guitarist Porter McClister interjected with some California jokes, which kept the crowd in a lighthearted mood while Tanya was off getting her monitor fixed. Porter brought out the mandolin on San Antonio Stoll, while cool, rain-like sound affects were interjected towards the end of Lizzie and the Rainman.

Tanya talked about her enduring love for Elvis Presley. She also talked about how she one time turned down a kiss from him and that she told him she had to go home after he offered her the opportunity to hang out with him. A touching moment was when she dedicated Two Sparrows in a Hurricane to the everlasting love between her parents. Before her father passed away a few years back, they had shared a life together for 67 years, after marrying at age 15. She ended the set with Delta Dawn, her first hit at the tender age of 13.

Tanya was consistent throughout the entire performance despite recently getting over a cold. After seeing her show, you can tell she still has the piss and vinegar of that 13-year- old girl in her performances.
