Ringo Starr Press Conference @ Casino Rama, Orillia, Ontario 6-5-14

Ringo Starr recently re-introduced his longest continuous lineup of the All Starr band at a press conference at Casino Rama in Orillia Ontario. It includes singer-guitarist Steve Lukather (Toto), Richard Page (Mr. Mister), Gregg Rolie (Santana, Journey), Todd Rundgren (Utopia, The New Cars) & second drummer Gregg Bissonette. Only multi-instrumentalist Warren Ham, who replaced Mark Rivera, is different.

The band rolled through small selections of their upcoming set, highlighting each of the All-Starrs concluding with the Beatles hit “With a Little Help from My Friends.”

After the music selections, Ringo took a few questions and told the group of press that he will “play bars” with this lineup if it means keeping them together. The rest of the All-Starrs chimed in and said that they are having a great time and were all excited when Ringo asked them to return for more dates.

They also announced a series of fall dates including stops in Austin, Texas and St. Louis, Missouri.

Setlist:

I Wanna Be Your Man (The Beatles cover)
Evil Ways (Santana cover)
Hold The Line (Toto cover)
I Saw the Light (Todd Rundgren cover)
Broken Wings (Mr. Mister cover)
With A Little Help From My Friends (The Beatles cover)

We would like to thank Elizabeth Freund from Beautiful Day Media for the credentials to take part in the press conference.
