Former Cream bassist Jack Bruce passed away at age 71 surrounded by his family in Suffolk, England. Cream was the first band that was nicknamed “supergroup’ with Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker. They sold 35 million albums in just over a 2 year period in the late 1960’s and received the first ever platinum award for “Wheels of Fire.”
