Day 3 (Saturday) at NAMM is traditionally the busiest. What originally was a light schedule for us turned into busy one. We had interviews with Tommy Thayer of KISS at the Gibson/Epihone booth. At the same time our interview was going on, The Doors legendary guitarist Robbie Krieger was playing the showroom stage with his band. We also interviewed Shavo Odadjian of System of a Down and took a trip away from NAMM to be one of the first outlets to witness the new line of musical products from Wylde Audio (Zakk Wylde’s new company).
Photos include: fashion stylist Erin Micklow by Gibson, The Robbie Krieger band (including Waylon Krieger and Phil Chen), Mark Goffeney form The Big Toe Band at Rodriquez Guitars, Jerry Jemmott, Laith Al Saadi and Seymour Duncan at the Seymour Duncan booth performing together, The Kyle Gass Band at Clayton Guitar Picks, Bob Dylan Players edition acoustic guitar at Gibson, a photo of me in front of Eric Singer’s drum kit at Pearl and one in front of a stack of Marshall Amps, a drum kit set up in front of Ludwig, and a photo of the Red Hot Chili Peppers Chad Smith at Pearl.
