Hot off the heels of this winter’s SnoCore tour, Las Vegas’s own fearsome foursome Adelitas Way has released a new EP of brand new music, “Deserve This.” Led by charismatic frontman Rick DeJesus, the band rips through five edgy, hard rock tracks. The title track has a wicked riff and a hypnotic chorus. Things really heat up with the next track “I Get Around” which has all the makings of another hit single for the band. They change things up with the slower blues funk groove of “Filthy Heart” and “Harbor the Fugitive” before closing things out with the smoldering “Sometimes You’re Meant To Get Used To.”
Produced by Matt Dougherty (Staind, Megadeth) at Groovemaster Studios, the record has a real raw feel to it with a nice modern edge. A highlight of the EP is the captivating guitar work of Robert Zakaryan.
The band is in the midst of a Pledge Music campaign for their 4th full length album, but in the meantime “Deserve This” will keep fans satistfied and whet their appetites for more music to come.
