Beauvoir Free ‘American Trash’

First making magical music together in 1994 with the Crown of Thorns self-titled debut album, the duo of Jean Beauvoir and Micki Frees are back with an all new project Beauvoir Free. Over the years the two have collaborated with some of the best names in rock and roll including KISS, the Ramones, Carlos Santana, and John Waite to name just a few. Their latest offering “American Trash” is classic American melodic rock.

It’s clear from the opening track “Angels Cry” that Beauvoir and Frees make a terrific songwriting duo. The record is full of killer riffs, great choruses, and hooks that will knock you out. From the bluesy vibe of “Whiplash” to the full throttle of “Shotgun To The Heart” Jean Beauvoir’s vocals are solid and Frees is masterful at placing solos at just the right time and blending perfectly with the melody of each song. Standout tracks are the swagger of “American Trash” and the true melodic rock ballad “Just Breathe.”

“American Trash” is good old American rock and roll at its best. Beauvoir and Frees have done it again!
