Lynch Mob ‘Rebel’

Led by guitar wizard George Lynch and dynamic vocalist Oni Logan, Lynch Mob is back with their 8th studio album and second on the Frontiers label, “Rebel.” Joining them for the record is the world class rhythm section of Jeff Pilson on bass and Brian Tichy behind the kit.

“Rebel” is old school heavy metal much like the ’80s New Wave of British Heavy Metal with crunching riffs, masterful solos, and catchy choruses. Producer Chris “The Wizard” Collier kept the natural tones of the instruments, especially Logan’s vocals, for a true classic rock vibe. The first two singles “Automatic Fix” and “Testify” are classic anthemic rockers that will be live favorites. Check out the chugging blues of “Kingdom of Slaves” where lyrically Oni begins to explore the deeper topics of economic and social injustice as well as on the track “Dirty Money.” Lynch once again proves himself to be an extraordinary axemaster with incredible solos on “The Ledge” and “Sanctuary.” Not to be missed is “Pine Tree Avenue” with a riff full of attitude and the down and dirty feel of “Jelly Roll.”

Lynch and company once again outdo themselves on “Rebel.” This one is a must own for metalheads everywhere.
