Hailing from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Every Hour Kills has recently released their self-titled debut EP. With hard driving beats, plenty of keyboard, and blistering metal guitar work, Every Hour Kills is an interesting blend of melodic metal and electronica which gives their sound a unique groove.
The EP consists of five songs with instrumental versions of all the tracks also included. Stand out tunes include the almost dance club vibe of “SaviourS” and the electronic blends of “Chosen.” The vocals of Jerrod Maxwell-Lyster are impeccable on the power ballad type song “One Reason” and the damaging beats of “Almost Human” will have your chest thumping and your fist pumping. The band sounds extremely tight as if they have been playing together forever and the guitar stylings of Sacha Laskow are melodically fresh and technically superb.
