Hours after making their television debut at the 2016 Grammy Awards, the Hollywood Vampires have announced their first U.S. concert of the year — in Upstate New York.
The new supergroup, which features Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, Aerosmith’s Joe Perry and Guns N’ Roses’ Duff McKagan, will perform at the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, N.Y. on May 24. It’s the band’s first East Coast show since forming last year.
Tickets for the Event Center performance go on sale Tuesday, February 23 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster, the Turning Stone Box Office, and by phone at 1-877-833-SHOW. Prices are $64, $69 and $74.
Rolling Stone reports the Hollywood Vampires have only a handful of 2016 tour dates scheduled, including the Rock in Rio festival in Portugal three days after the Turning Stone, and Wisconsin’s Rock Fest in July.
“We have to carefully schedule the Vampires,” Cooper told the publication. “That’s because you have Johnny’s movie schedule; you’ve got Aerosmith; you’ve got Guns N’ Roses and you’ve got me! It’s five entities going in five different directions. To get those guys all at one time when we’re not working is really unique. So everybody looks at their calendar, and you have to find that two weeks where everybody’s off.”
Hollywood Vampires, named after the ’70s celebrity drinking club of the same name founded by Cooper, released their debut album in September. Tracks include covers of The Who, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix and several originals co-written by Depp.
