With two weeks left until the release of highly anticipated album BAD VIBRATIONS, A DAY TO REMEMBER are ramping up the sneak previews. Earlier this week they released the companion video to new track “Bullfight” and today they’re premiering another new song, “Naivety.”
Directed by Darren Doane (Deftones, Zac Brown Band, Blink-182), the “Bullfight” video features acclaimed artist Rob Prior, known for his work with Marvel, DC Comics, Lucas Films and many more.
As the band posted on Twitter, “Big thank you to Rob Prior for painting the history of violence for our new ‘Bullfight’ music video.”
“Bullfight” and “Naivety” follow the release of “Bullfight” track, the album’s title track/video, “Bad Vibrations” and lead track/video “Paranoia” , the latter of which premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio Show and has gone on to amass more than 7.9 million Spotify streams and 5.5 million YouTube views, while shooting to No. 7 on the rock chart. Fans can get “Bullfight,” Bad Vibrations,” “Paranoia” and “Naivety” as instant downloads by clicking smarturl.it/badvibrations to pre-order BAD VIBRATIONS on iTunes. Pre-order bundles are also available on the band’s official site or at smarturl.it/adtr-preorder.
Set for a September 2nd release on the band’s own ADTR Records and distributed by Epitaph, BAD VIBRATIONS was produced by Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Black Flag) and Jason Livermore (Rise Against, NOFX) and mixed by Grammy winner Andy Wallace (Foo Fighters, Slayer). The album is the band’s first since 2013’s Common Courtesy.
The quintet, who recently headlined the 2016 Alternative Press Music Awards and are on the cover of the magazine’s latest issue, are currently on the road with Blink-182 for a summer tour of arenas and sheds. In December, they’ll head to Australia for a string of shows with support from Of Mice & Men and follow with a headlining run that’ll take them to the UK, Germany, Italy, France and more. Their live set has been drawing rave reviews, with the Tampa Bay Times calling them “one of Florida’s most successful musical exports this century” and the Houston Press writing that the “ADTR gave the crowd everything they needed to have a good time. They are extremely good at what they do, and it was good to know that they could not only hold their own with a band as iconic as Blink-182, but could stand damn near shoulder to shoulder with them.”
Over the course of the past several years, each of A Day To Remember’s releases have hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Rock, Indie and/or Alternative Charts, they’ve sold more than a million units, racked up over 400 million Spotify streams and 500 million YouTube views, garnered two gold-selling albums and singles (and one silver album in the UK) and sold out entire continental tours, amassing a global fanbase whose members number in the millions. All of which explains why Rolling Stone called them “An Artist You Need To Know.”
