The Dillinger Escape Plan Announce ‘Dissociation’ North American Tour

After announcing their hiatus and performing at select intimate venues earlier this month, The Dillinger Escape Plan has officially released the dates for their tour in support of their new album Dissociation. The tour will kick off in October and run throughout North America, making major stops in New York, Seattle, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, as well as Boston. O’Brother and Cult Leader will be joining the band throughout the tour as well as Car Bomb, Entheos, and Bent Knee on a handful of dates. Dubbed ‘Among The Greatest Of All Time’ by Metalsucks and one of ’10 Best Live Bands in Metal Right Now’ by LA Weekly, The Dillinger Escape Plan’s live show is one you won’t want to miss.

When asked about embarking on the upcoming tour, “This album, and the touring we have booked to support it, is a celebration of creation through deconstruction,” says guitarist, Ben Weinman. “We will all go into this journey fully embracing the power of unpredictability.”

“The Dillinger Escape Plan may put on the most intense live show on the planet… DEP (has been) carving out a path of destruction completely unrestrained by venue rules. Fire breathing, jumps from ridiculous heights, self-inflicted cuts and some very rough interaction with fans only scratches the surface of the live Dillinger experience,” says Loudwire of the band’s live show.

In addition, the band will be unleashing their album, Dissociation, on October 14, 2016 via the band’s Party Smasher Inc. imprint distributed via Cooking Vinyl America. Fans can check out their first single off the record titled “Limerent Death” now, HERE. Pre-order bundles are available for purchase now, HERE.  In a recent review of Dissociation, The Music Melting Pot said “RATING: 300% (As much as The Dillinger Escape Plan have given us, for coming up on two decades. They deserve nothing less)… Dissociation‘s ultimate goal is to send Dillinger on their way at the peak of their powers as creative artists, musicians, and performers. Ambition: Achieved.’

The Dillinger Escape Plan has been a juggernaut since their inception in 1997 making an indelible mark on the world of rock. The band has put out five studio albums, rocked Late Night TV and have been winners of The Golden Gods’ Best Underground Band, Kerrang!’s Inspiration Award and Relentless Award as well as a VH1 Most Influential Guitarist award.  Their sound is unlike that of any other band, but that has been the inspiration for many that have followed.
