Bruno Mars Releases New Single And Music Video “24K Magic”

“24K Magic,” his first single in four years. After a week of hype on social media, the 30-year-old musician released the song and music video overnight. “You can call it my first single,” Mars said, “but I call it the invitation to the party.”

“24K Magic” was written and produced by Shampoo Press & Curl, with additional production by The Stereotypes. Mars’ third studio album—also titled 24K Magic—will come out Nov. 18. Mars and Cameron Duddy also co-directed the music video, filmed at the Fountains of Bellagio.

Mars teased the track Thursday on Twitter. “Ugghh..About that single tonight. Been a rough week, exhausted. Also, gotta pick a friend up from the airport early tmrw. Rain check???” he wrote. “NAH F–K THAT! Not only am I droppin the single tonight, imma show y’all the album cover too!! BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!!!!! Not only am I releasing the single AND the album cover, IMMA DROP THE 24k MAGIC MUSIC VIDEO ON DAT ASS TONIGHT!!!!! LETS GOOOO!!”
