“It feels incredible to bring Front and Center back for a seventh season,” says Executive Producer Don Maggi.  “We had the privilege of working with a dynamic group of artists to give fans new insight on the creative process of some of their favorite musicians.”

Season seven of Front and Center kicks off with three-time Grammy Award winner Rob Thomas at New York City’s Iridium, where he performs some of his biggest hits including #1’s “Lonely No More,” “3am,” and “Smooth,” as well as the exclusive premiere of a new song, “We Are One.”

Singer/songwriter Shawn Mendes is one of six artists to have two No. 1 albums on the Billboard Top 200 at the age of 18.  In this episode, he performs some of his biggest hits including “Treat You Better,” “Stitches,” and “Mercy.”

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, Cheap Trick, celebrate their careers with an intimate performance at the Melrose Ballroom in New York City.  The band has become a musical institution, best known for timeless classics such as “Surrender” and “I Want You to Want Me.”

The Godfather of “the New Jersey Sound,” Southside Johnny performs in front of an intimate audience of his biggest fans, and legendary guitarist Steve Vai performs in the smallest room that he has performed in years.  Dawes take the stage at the Iridium to celebrate the release of their latest No. 1 album We’re All Gonna Die.  Indie rock band Kaleo performs songs from their Elektra Records debut A/B including “Vor í Vaglaskógi,” a traditional Icelandic Love song sung in the band’s native language

As a part of the Country Music Association and CMA Songwriter Series, Front and Center has produced new episodes with three-time Grammy Award Winner Jennifer Nettles and ACM Award nominees, The Cadillac Three. Grammy Award nominated singer/songwriter Brandy Clark joins Nettles on stage to perform her hit song “Love Can Go to Hell” and Amos Lee joins Nettles on guitar.
