Paul O’Neill, Founder Of Trans-Siberian Orchestra Dies at 61

 

Trans-Siberian Orchestra founder Paul O’Neill has passed away at the age of 61 after battling a chronic illness.  O’Neill was a gifted producer and songwriter and has worked with the likes of Aerosmith and Savatage.  His unique blend of rock and classical music and flashy stage production resulted in a huge commercial success for Trans-Siberian Orchestra with a live show that has become a Christmas tradition for many.

He was our friend and our leader — a truly creative spirit and an altruistic soul. This is a profound and indescribable loss for us all.
