Cavalera Conspiracy “Psychosis”

In the world of heavy metal music, there is metal and then there is METAL and there are no two people more METAL than brothers Max and Igor Cavalera. The brothers have recently released their fourth album under the Cavalera Conspiracy moniker, “Psychosis,” a monster of a record touching on the human psyche and the themes of panic and anxiety.

After playing together for so long, Max and Igor have an unmistakable musical connection and it transfers to the listener with every anticipated rhythm and beat. The sound is brutally intense, an outstanding combination of black metal and death metal infused with world rhythms and cadences.  From the insane shredding of “Spectral War” to the ridiculously fast blast beats of “Judas Pariah,” Cavalera Conspiracy is on fire. Don’t miss the pounding pulsations and spoken words on “Crom” and the undeniable groove of “Impalement Execution.” The title track is an instrumental number that deserves a spot on every metal head’s playlist.

“Psychosis” is vicious and ruthless in its attack and the best record yet from Cavalera Conspiracy. I’ll give this one a definite horns up!
