The 2018 NAMM tradeshow took place January 25-28 the (which is later than usual) at the Anaheim Convention Center. The Convention Center had a brand new wing that took over 3 years to build. The new wing housed most microphone and various media electronics. A brand like Harmon went from having a small space in the dome to now occupying one of the biggest spots in the new wing. There was a lot of shifting and maneuvering for booths. So basically if you were used to a booth at a certain spot, you had to relearn where they moved it to. The NAMM application was a big help for us and i’m sure most attended used it as well. We covered as much as we could as we attended all 4 days including NAMM preview day that was held on Wednesday before NAMM officially started.
