Wednesday was a big announcement by the classic rock band Aerosmith. They got together to play The Today Concert Series while announcing they will be doing a Las Vegas Residency in 2019. You can go here http://www.aerosmith.com/tour2019 for all the details on where and when.
This was a rare appearance by the band for 2018 as they only have done 1 date until this point (Jazz fest in New Orleans). A bus pulled up and let the band off as they walked through the back through the crowd an onto the stage before jumping into “Love in an Elevator.” Steven Tyler threw one of his pieces of clothing into the audience at the end of the song as well. Tom Hamilton took center stage as he started the bass chords to “Sweet Emotion.” The band played 2 songs and the intimate crowd at Rockefeller Ice Skating Rink was defiantly abuzz wanting one more song before the band left the stage leaving the audience wanting more.
