Umphrey’s McGee has announced their 2019 Wax On, Wax Off tour, kicking off on January 11th with a double header in Richmond, VA and a rock show on the high seas on January 15th & 16th on the Jam Cruise. Umphrey’s McGee will also be heading to Brooklyn’s premiere new concert venue, Brooklyn Steel for three nights of Umphlove over Valentine’s Day weekend. The Wax On, Wax Off tour will bring Umphrey’s McGee‘s electric stage presence to major cities including Cincinnati, Portland, Brooklyn, Detroit and more. Full tour routing below.
Fan club presale and umVIP tickets will be available via TicketsToday October 17th at 11am ET until. General on-sale begins October 19th 11am ET. VIP packages will be available for Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Brooklyn and Detroit dates. All four offerings include private, pre-show soundcheck sets in an intimate setting of a nearly empty venue. All packages include open bar during the private set, early entry, a signed LE event poster, exclusive umVIP merch, commemorative laminate, and an MP3 of all shows including the private set. Phenomenal support acts are lined up throughout the tour, to pack a musical punch for your night out with Umphrey’s McGee. Support in Richmond will be announced in the coming weeks; six-piece powerhouse, Big Something, joins Umphrey’s in Cincinnati, The Marcus King band in Milwaukee, and Robert Walter’s 20th Congress in New Haven, Albany and Portland. Then, they finish strong with Moser Woods in Fort Wayne and Michal Menert and the Pretty Fantastics in Detroit.
The tour announcement follows Umphrey’s McGee‘s surprise 10-track companion album, it’s you (PRESS HERE).
