HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD RELEASE SURPRISE EP, PSALMS

“WEST COAST HIGH” CO-HEADLINE TOUR W/ CYPRESS HILL KICKS OFF NEXT YEAR – TICKETS ON SALE NOW

(November 2, 2018) – Los Angeles, CA – Hollywood Undead’s surprise EP, PSALMS, is out today! The record is a companion piece to last year’s LP, FIVE, and features previously released tracks, “Gotta Let Go” and “Another Level,” as well as three brand new songs: “Bloody Nose,” “Live Fast Die Young,” and “Something to Believe.” The band gave fans a preview of the new offering on Wednesday with the exclusive premiere of “Bloody Nose” on SiriusXM Octane.

Complete with an eclectic blend of pop, rock, and rap, PSALMS showcases the five-piece’s versatility, diverse musicianship, and authentic songwriting. “On our new EP, we tackle darker subjects such as life, death, and suicide. As a band, we try to convey messages of hope and with this project specifically, redemption,” says Johnny 3 Tears (vocals, bass guitar). “If I could speak to every individual who needs help I would. But no one can do that, and that’s why we make the music we do. Hopefully we can help someone with these songs. They have definitely helped us.” Fans can stream and download the EP HERE.

Since unveiling “Gotta Let Go” and “Another Level” earlier this year, the standout tracks have racked up over 10 million views and streams. The group also recently clocked over 1.1 billion total U.S. streams across their catalog, over two million monthly listeners on Spotify, and over 440 million total YouTube views – all marking impressive achievements in their career.

Hollywood Undead is also pleased to announce a new batch of tour dates for 2019. The quintet will first embark on the “West Coast High” U.S. co-headliner with labelmates Cypress Hill, followed by a headline run across Europe. The massive trek goes from February to May and hits major cities including Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Moscow, Prague, and London. About The Author Kris Engelhart

I am a small business owner, freelance writer, and part-time piano instructor in Charlotte, NC. My musical career started at the age of five when I was forced into taking piano lessons. I played flute in the school band and added the guitar as a young teen. There is nothing I would rather do than be at a live show. My first concert was Shaun Cassidy at the Memorial Auditorium in Buffalo in 1978. My top five live shows ever are: 1. Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band – Memorial Auditorium, Buffalo, NY 1984- They played for 3 ½ hours and it was awesome. 2. Carolina Rebellion- Metrolina Expo Grounds, Charlotte, NC, May, 2011 – The first ever Carolina Rebellion featured over 15 bands with Avenged Sevenfold headlining. Non-stop music for over 12 hours. 3. Chevelle- Food Lion Speed Street, Charlotte, NC, May, 2008 - The first time I ever saw Chevelle live and I was hooked! 4. Skillet with Red- Bojangle’s Coliseum, Charlotte, NC, April, 2010 – Skillet is one of my favorite bands and they totally kick it live. 5. 106.5 The End’s Weenie Roast #9- Verizon Wireless Amiptheater, Charlotte, NC , October, 2003- Featured Staind, Shinedown, Three Days Grace.
