New Years Day has been hitting it hard in 2019. They came out with their 4th studio effort titled “Unbreakable” this past April. The band is currently enjoying (what you can say) is their first headlining tour even though Nikki states their was another time where they enjoyed being a headliner. We grabbed guitarist Nikki Misery for a quick chat before the bands first ever show in Buffalo, NY. We talked about the creative process of the record and why the band decided to go with 2 producers on it rather than one. Nikki told us about the very recent band change with drummer Jason Renshaw departing and Longineau W. Parsons III filling in. Nikki also talked about his thoughts on the upcoming tours with both In This Moment and Halestorm and the other tour with Godsmack later this year.
Enjoy this candid conversation with Nikki Misery of New Years Day!
