Chris Robertson (Black Stone Cherry) Interview

Chris Robertson (Black Stone Cherry) Interview

October 19, 2020 by Gus

Black Stone Cherry are getting ready to release their 7th studio album titled “The Human Condition” on October 30th via Mascot Records. In preparation for this, we talked with lead vocalist & guitarist Chris Robertson. Chris was gracious enough to have time for us even though he was a little under the weather. During our time we talked about if being married and having children changes the writing style for the band. Chris goes into his thoughts on that.  We go in depth about a few of the tracks including “”Ringin’ in my Head, “Live This Way’ and and the ELO cover, “Don’t Bring Me Down.” In addition, we chatted about the bands upcoming live stream called “Live in the Sky” that will be happening on October 30th (details below).  Of course we had to talk about the passing of guitar god Eddie Van Halen and if the band had any ties to EVH. Chris gives a very interesting answer on that. Plus, we talked about a whole lot more. Join us for in depth conversation with a good ole’ southern gentleman in Chris Robertson of Black Stone Cherry.

We would like to thank Steve Karas from SKH Music for setting up the interview with Chris.
