KISS @ Battery Park (Tribeca Film Festival) New York, New York 6-11-21

As things just start to open up, this was great opportunity for the greatest show on earth to make it presence felt. KISS opened up the live portion of events at Battery Park during the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival. Why would KISS be at Tribeca you ask? Well, they were there to debut their new biography KISSTORY. Part 1 was shown for 300 lucky fans who were in attendance. They were also treated to a live performance by the band that followed the movie screening.  The show was short but bombastic. Both rhythm guitarist Paul Stanley and bassist Gene Simmons led the band for a fun filled rock and roll set that included a few KISS staples such as Detroit Rock City and Rock and Roll All Nite. You can tell the excitement filled the air by the fans who desperately were missing the live music scene over the last 15 months. The pyro was nothing I ever felt before.  The intensity of the flame throwers made it a hot performance all round.

Go see KISS on their “End of the Road” tour. You can see dates and purchase tickets here: Tour. Tune in to A&E to see KISSTORY which airs on Sunday June 27 and Monday June 28 from 9 to 11 p.m. EDT.
