BOWLING FOR SOUP has always been a band that gives back to the Dallas music scene and supported up and coming local talent. So it is no surprise that they have put their money where their mouths are and are sponsoring the “Local Heroes Stage” at the upcoming SO WHAT?! FESTIVAL, which will feature bands from multiple genres from around the DFW area from multiple genres. “Giving up and coming artists a stage to play on at such a huge festival is the least we can do. I remember what a huge deal things like this were for us when we couldn’t get a gig on our own. Many of these musicians have paid to get into our shows or bought our merch, so for us, it’s a way to say thank you.
