BIG TIME RUSH’S NEW ALBUM ‘ANOTHER LIFE’ OUT NOW

June 2, 2023 by Gus

June 2, 2023 – Big Time Rush released their highly anticipated new album Another Life today on BMG. Celebrating the release of their first new studio album in 10 years with a live performance on NBC’s TODAY, the band performed hits “Boyfriend,” Paralyzed” and “Worldwide” as well as their new song “Waves” for ecstatic Rushers on Rockefeller Plaza as part of the 2023 Citi Concert Series. Listen to Another Life HERE.

“This is very much a comeback,” notes Carlos PenaVega with a smile. “As long as our fans want us to do it, we’re going to keep doing it. We really mean that.”

Big Time Rush’s new music brings the band decidedly into the future—both with its inventive sound and the band members collaborating with one another like never before. “I think collaboration is key,” explains Kendall Schmidt of the four musicians uniting their creative forces alongside producers Adam Korbesmeyer, Will Ventres, Nick Furlong, Bryan Todd and Maffio during what they describe as Another Life’s intensely inspiring writing and studio sessions. “We were able to get reacquainted on our own terms and on our own time without any pressure,” explains Logan Henderson. “Almost each track off this new album has been an ah-ha moment for us,” he adds. “Places we’ve gone in songwriting that we had not previously touched on before. Trying new things in the studio and working with new sounds we’d never done.”

Big Time Rush will launch their 39-city North American Can’t Get Enough Tour with special guests Max and Jax on June 22nd. Tickets for the Can’t Get Enough Tour are on sale now. Watch the tour promo video HERE. For more tour information visit BigTImeRushOfficial.com or LiveNation.com.
“The world is in such a crazy place and we just want to bring a good time, happiness, love and hope,”PenaVega concludes proudly.“I really think with this new album we’ve been able to do exactly that.”

ABOUT BIG TIME RUSH:
Big Time Rush became an overnight sensation in November 2009 when the scripted TV show of the same name launched on Nickelodeon. The show focused on the Hollywood adventures of four hockey players from Minnesota after they were selected to form a boy band. The show became a huge success and later, Carlos, Kendall, James, and Logan came to life as a band off the screen releasing three full length albums and performing across the globe. As the show concluded in July 2013 and after four years of recording music and touring as a band, they went their separate ways but remained close friends through the years.

After 7 years, in an effort to bring joy to their fans during quarantine around the world, the members of Big Time Rush decided to appear together as a group to send a message of love and togetherness. This was soon followed by a socially distant performance of an acoustic version of their smash hit, “Worldwide”. These appearances resulted in hysteria amongst their fans and in the media, followed by BTR receiving 10+ million streams in 2020 alone. Four seasons of the TV show were added to Netflix in March 2021 and have appeared in the Netflix “Top 10” trending titles.

The power group kicked off 2022 stronger than ever with the launch of their wildly successful, sold-out Forever Tour, as well as all new music, including hit singles “Honey,” “Fall,” and “Not Giving You Up.” The Forever Tour sold over 300,000 tickets across North America with numerous sell outs including sold-out shows in Chicago, at New York City’s legendary Madison Square Garden and on all dates on their Mexico Tour and concluded in 2023 in South America.

In addition to a massive sold-out tour, 2022 also included live performances at the Latin Kids Choice Awards, iHeart Music Festival, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the premiere of their first pay-per-view event, The City Is Ours, a concert film capturing the band’s sold-out show at Madison Square Garden.

In 2023, Big Time Rush was honored in Duluth, MN – the band’s hometown on their eponymous hit Nickelodeon show Big Time Rush – with an official Mayoral declaration making April 4th Big Time Rush Day in the U.S.
