The Bacon Brothers Unveil New Video for “Losing The NIght”

NEW YORK, NY – The Bacon Brothers, featuring Michael and Kevin Bacon, are excited to announce the release of their new video, “Losing The Night”, from their forthcoming album, Ballad OfThe Brothers. The album will be released on April 19th via Forosoco Music / Forty Below Records and is available for pre-order hereon CD, Vinyl, and digital download. Pre-save “Losing The Night” here.
Premiered by Taste of Country, “Losing The Night” was written by Casey Beathard, Michael Bacon and Kevin Bacon. Michael said “We were with Casey Beathard who is a monster Nashville writer who did “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem” and “Boys of Fall”, and it was really a thrill to sit down with him and write it.”
In discussing “Losing The Night,” Kevin stated, “We have a term in the movie business “losing the light,” which is when you’re about to lose the shot because the sun is about to go down. We thought it’d be cool to write a song called “Losing the Night” about this couple in a motel room having problems, and they know that if they don’t figure their problems out by the time the sun comes up, that’s it for their relationship.”
The video was filmed by Bradley Wagner and the audio engineer was Juan Soria at The Space in Westbury, New York.

The siblings have spent the best of three decades creating their own mix of folk, rock, soul, and country music. They call that diverse sound “forosoco,” it’s taken them worldwide, from headlining gigs in Japan and Europe to American performances at iconic venues like Carnegie Hall, the Grand Ole Opry, and Gruene Hall.
Their musical exploration continues with the band’s twelfth release, Ballad Of The Brothers. It’s a record that highlights the similarities between Kevin Bacon (known worldwide as an A-list Hollywood actor) and Michael Bacon (celebrated as an Emmy-winning composer) and the differences, too.
For Michael and Kevin Bacon, their album, Ballad Of TheBrothers marks the continuation of a musical partnership that began long ago in Philedelphia, where the two siblings were raised on a soundtrack of 1970s singer/songwriters, Philly soul bands, and classic rock acts,. They’re creating their own soundtrack now, and like many artistic endeavors, the work is never truly done.
