Adam Lambert To Release EP ‘AFTERS’ July 19

GRAMMY-nominated international superstar and LGBTQ+ trailblazer Adam Lambert ushers in his boldest and most unapologetic era yet with today’s announcement of his new EP, AFTERS, set for a July 19 release via The Orchard. Fans will get the first taste of the new project on Friday, May 31 when Adam will release two songs from the EP – “Lube” and “Wet Dream” – ahead of his WeHo Pride performance. Both tracks are now available to pre-save.

An exploration of sexuality and liberation, AFTERS captures the essence of modern queer culture with pulsating beats and sultry lyrics.

Discussing his inspirations for the EP, Adam says, “Creating AFTERS has been such a liberating experience as I chose to craft an EP of house music that’s unapologetically queer and sex positive. I throw many house parties and my aim was to create a soundtrack inspired by wild nights, giving a voice to our communities’ hedonistic desires and exploits. Feeling more confident than ever, I wanted to get shamelessly raw and real with the listener. AFTERS is meant to make you move, sweat, fantasize and connect!”

AFTERS follows Adam’s LP of inspired covers, High Drama (BMG, 2023), which earned him his fifth top 10 on Billboard’s Album Sales Chart. The album kickstarted the next chapter in Lambert’s solo career, drawing on his well-known penchant for high drama — an artist comfortable in his own skin, being well and truly himself, and loving every minute.

Following the release of “Lube” and “Wet Dream,” Adam will kick off WeHo Pride Weekend programming on Friday, May 31 with a performance at WeHo Pride Presents Friday Night at OUTLOUD, a free outdoor concert courtesy of the City of West Hollywood, taking place at West Hollywood Park.
