LOS ANGELES, CA (June 21, 2024) – Today, GRAMMY-nominated international superstar Adam Lambert releases “CVNTY,” an empowering revenge anthem of fierce self-assurance from his hedonistic and unfiltered EP AFTERS arriving July 19 via The Orchard. “CVNTY” is all about owning your power, turning heads, and leaving a lasting impression. With lyrics that cut deep, it tells the story of a love so intense it could bring a city to its knees, only to end with unapologetic independence and the sweet taste of revenge.

Of the song, Adam says: “The songs on AFTERS are all about desire and connection, but what about when things don’t work out and a lover messes up? ‘CVNTY’ recalls running into an ex at a party and feeling empowered enough to tell them they lost their chance, and feeling like you look damn good as you do!”

Adam gave the WeHo Pride crowd an exclusive first preview of “CVNTY” when he performed the song’s live debut at WeHo Pride Presents Friday Night at OUTLOUD. During his set, Adam also performed “WET DREAM,” a hypnotic and longing song detailing how it feels when a ‘homo takes it home,’ and “LUBE,“ a pulsating track that is as direct as it is oozing with sensuality. An exploration of sexuality and liberation, AFTERS captures the essence of modern queer culture with pulsating beats and sultry lyrics.

Of his inspirations for the EP, Adam shared, “Creating AFTERS has been such a liberating experience as I chose to craft an EP of house music that’s unapologetically queer and sex positive. I throw many house parties and my aim was to create a soundtrack inspired by wild nights, giving a voice to our communities’ hedonistic desires and exploits. Feeling more confident than ever, I wanted to get shamelessly raw and real with the listener. AFTERS is meant to make you move, sweat, fantasize and connect!”
