About Steve Earle

Steve Earle is one of the most acclaimed singer-songwriters of his generation. A protege of legendary songwriters Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark, he quickly became a master storyteller in his own right, with his songs being recorded by Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Joan Baez, Emmylou Harris, The Pretenders, and countless others. 1986 saw the release of his record, Guitar Town, which shot to number one on the country charts and is now regarded as a classic of the Americana genre. Earle’s 1988 hit “Copperhead Road” was made an official state song of Tennessee in 2023. Subsequent releases like The Revolution Starts…Now (2004), Washington Square Serenade (2007), and TOWNES (2009) received consecutive GRAMMY® Awards. Alone Again (Live), which features live recordings from Earle’s 2023 tour, was released digitally on July 12, 2024, with vinyl and CD editions to follow on October 11. Earle has published two books and produced albums for other artists.

As an actor, Earle has appeared in several films and had recurring roles in the HBO series The Wire and Tremé. In 2017, Earle appeared in the off-Broadway play Samara, for which he also wrote a score that The New York Times described as “exquisitely subliminal.” More recently, Earle wrote the music for and appeared in the off-Broadway play Coal Country, for which he was nominated for a Drama Desk Award.

Earle is a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. In 2023, Steve was also honored by the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music.

About Jackson Browne

Over the course of more than five decades, Jackson Browne has written and performed some of the most literate and moving songs in popular music. With classic albums including Late For The Sky, The Pretender, Running On Empty and For Everyman, Browne has defined a genre of songwriting that is charged with honesty, emotion and personal politics. A member of both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Browne has been nominated for seven GRAMMY®s, released 15 studio albums and four collections of live performances, and has sold more than 22 million albums worldwide. As a producer for other artists, his work includes David Lindley’s debut El Rayo-X as well as Warren Zevon’s self-titled release and Excitable Boy. In 1979, Browne co-founded Musicians United for Safe Energy (MUSE), and was instrumental in organizing the legendary “No Nukes Concerts” at Madison Square Garden. Empathy has been at the core of his work for more than 50 years and he has regularly threaded activism into his life and songs, raising funds and awareness for many social, political and environmental efforts.

About Margaret Glaspy

Originally from Northern California, Margaret Glaspy first started writing songs at age 15 and soon began honing the potent balance of sensitivity and incisiveness that we know and love. She is a product of the New York Music scene spanning the last 15 years and has put out three full length albums with ATO Records, toured the world over, and shared the stage with the likes of Spoon, Wilco, Sara Bareilles, and Norah Jones, to name a few. Carrying a rare gift for rendering the most nuanced aspects of the human experience with equal parts primal emotionality and bracing intelligence, she cites influences including Tom Waits, Sonic Youth, Vivienne Westwood, and Aretha Franklin. Of her most recent full length record Echo The Diamond, Paste Magazine called it “a revelation of intimacy and confidence,” and Rolling Stone called her “one of the more relatable songwriters in recent years.”

About Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams

Acclaimed Americana musicians Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams are a powerhouse of vocal and instrumental virtuosity. Initially Larry and Teresa made their marks separately – Larry as indispensable multi-instrumentalist with Bob Dylan, Sheryl Crow, Keith Richards, Emmylou Harris and Teresa as a stage actor in productions like Keep On the Sunny Side where she portrayed Sara Carter and Always… Patsy Cline. Their performing partnership was molded recording and touring with Levon Helm, iconic drummer and voice of The Band. As a duo they have released three studio albums plus a live recording, Live at Levon’s. Of All This Time, the couple’s current album, the Associated Press wrote: “All This Time is the best [of four duet albums] yet, a rousing and romantic testament to the power of love both forever and fleeting.”
