Carlos Santana’s Milagro Foundation Celebrates Over $10 Million in Global Grants

SAN RAFAEL, CA, January 8, 2026 — Legendary Musician Carlos Santana is proud to announce that his Milagro Foundation has marked a historic milestone by distributing a grand total of $10,147,729.00 in grants to underserved communities.

Since its inception 25 years ago, Santana’s Milagro Foundation has been dedicated to a singular mission: supporting the world’s most vulnerable children. The Milagro Foundation (Spanish for “Miracle”) has functioned as a bridge between Santana’s artistic success and his deep commitment to social justice. By focusing on the “miracles” of health, education, and the arts, the foundation has provided a lifeline to thousands of low-income children globally.

A Legacy of Impact

The foundation’s philanthropic efforts are concentrated in three pillar areas:

  • Educational Advancement: Supporting agencies that empower first-generation students to break cycles of poverty and attend college.
  • Holistic Wellness: Partnering with medical organizations to meet the critical health and nutritional challenges of children in need.
  • Creative Expression: Cultivating the next generation of visionaries by exploring and funding arts programs for youth.

Sustaining the Mission

The foundation’s work is fueled by a unique funding model that integrates Santana’s professional career with his philanthropy. For every concert ticket sold, Carlos and the Santana Band donate a portion of the proceeds directly to the Milagro Foundation. These contributions, coupled with revenue from licensed Santana products and corporate and individual donors, ensure that every fan and consumer plays a direct role in changing a child’s life.

“The Milagro Foundation is a way of giving back and making a difference in the lives of children who represent our future,” says Carlos Santana. “It is an honor to witness the resilience of these young people and to provide the tools they need to succeed.”

As the foundation looks toward the next 25 years, the commitment remains the same: to foster a world where every child is healthy, educated, and inspired.
