| Taylor Momsen will join Soundgarden for a special halftime performance at the Seattle Seahawks’ NFL season opener against the New England Patriots on September 9 at Lumen Field in Seattle. Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready will also join the performance.
Most recently, Momsen joined Soundgarden onstage for the band’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction, performing with the surviving members in celebration of Soundgarden’s legacy and influence on rock music. The upcoming halftime show will bring Momsen and Soundgarden together again in the band’s hometown of Seattle for a special performance kicking off the NFL season. The performance comes amid a major year for The Pretty Reckless, who released their highly anticipated fifth studio album, DEAR GOD, on June 26 via Fearless Records. Produced by Taylor Momsen, Ben Phillips and Jonathan Wyman, the album features “When I Wake Up,” which became the band’s ninth No. 1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. The band is currently on their global Dear God Tour, with dates across North America and overseas through December 3 in Glasgow, following their two-year run alongside AC/DC on the PWR UP Tour. |

About The Pretty Reckless The Pretty Reckless is a record-breaking rock band fronted by the incomparable Taylor Momsen, whose commanding vocals move seamlessly between raw power and haunting vulnerability. Known for their electrifying live performances, the band has toured the world with legends including AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, and Soundgarden. Since their debut Light Me Up, they’ve earned global acclaim with hits including “Heaven Knows” and made history as the first female-fronted band to score eight No. 1 singles on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart. Their latest album, Death by Rock and Roll, is a visceral exploration of life, loss, and the enduring spirit of rock. In 2025, they released their holiday EP Taylor Momsen’s Pretty Reckless Christmas, led by a reimagined version of Momsen’s iconic song “Where Are You Christmas?”. The band’s fifth studio album, DEAR GOD, is out now with their headlining tour kicking off July 10th. Marking the beginning of a new creative chapter, DEAR GOD embraces vulnerability, intensity and artistic freedom, inviting listeners into one of the band’s most raw and uncompromising records yet. The album’s release is preceded by its lead single “For I Am Death,” which saw the band repeat their record of earning four consecutive number ones on Billboard’s mainstream rock chart. |
