John Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience @ Artpark, Lewiston, NY 9-3-26

What an incredible night at Artpark in Lewiston, NY last night. Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience delivered an absolutely phenomenal show that captured the power, energy, and spirit of Led Zeppelin.

The band consists James Dylan on vocals, Akio Sakurai on lead guitar, Dorian Heartsong on bass and Alex Howland on keyboards and rhythm guitar. The performance of the band brought so many classic Zeppelin moments to life. From the thunderous drums and incredible guitar work to the unforgettable vocals, the entire band sounded fantastic. Jason Bonham’s connection to the music made the evening especially meaningful, and you could feel the history and emotion behind every song. In the past, Bonham had a few home videos and talked about them. This time, he had talked in between songs maybe 3 times where he told stories on his connection to Led Zeppelin. That included his performance in 2007 with Led Zeppelin at the O2 Arena. He won a Grammy for this performance in which he said he was very proud of. Bonham was exited to introduce “Kashmir,” as his favorite song from Led Zeppelin.

The setlist was packed with all the Zeppelin favorites. The mannerisms of Sakurai definitely reminded you of a young Jimmy Page. The atmosphere at Artpark was electric, with the crowd singing along, cheering, and clearly enjoying every minute.

A fantastic 2 hour performance from beginning to end. If you’re a Led Zeppelin fan, this is a show you absolutely should see.
