Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs Add Fall Tour Dates in Support of New Album “Mission Of Mercy”

Mike Campbell—lead guitarist and co-writer of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers—and his band The Dirty Knobs are adding a slew of fall tour dates in support of their critically acclaimed new album Mission of Mercy. New stops include New York City’s Town Hall, the Warner Theatre in Washington DC, New Orleans’ Joy Theatre and more, plus the band will be performing at AmericanaFest in Nashville as well as Farm Aid in Virginia Beach.

Tickets for the newly announced dates go on sale HERE at 10am local time on Friday, June 26; see below for a complete list of dates.

Mission of Mercy is out now via Soundly Music/Thirty Tigers, with The New York Times hailing it as a “rewarding release,” while SPIN proclaims, “Mission of Mercy displays Campbell’s full songwriting range…with songs ranging from the unbridled rock and roll of ‘I Remember’ to the Americana ballad ‘More Than Gold,’” and Guitar Player raves, “Campbell’s 12-song set finds him pushing into unexpected territory, stretching his electric guitar-driven rock with touches of Brian Wilson-inspired pop, psych-rock excursions and even a beat-poet experiment.” Additional info on Mission of Mercy is HERE.
