Randy Hauser’s “How Country Feels,” is a fantastic album from start to finish, without a moment of filler. The album flows like an hour of solid country radio, including rowdy fist pumpers, tender ballads and everything in between.
The album kicks off with two strong numbers, the catchy “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight,” and the good time celebratory song “Growin’ Younger.” Immediately you will be struck by the solid production quality, especially how well the drum sound was captured. Houser’s rich voice is placed perfectly in the mix throughout the album.
The album’s title track has already hit number one on the country charts, and there is no shortage of single worthy tracks including “Absolutely Nothing,” and the tear jerking ballad “Power of a Song.” Houser’s duet with Kristy Lee Cook, “Wherever Love Goes,” is the perfect first wedding dance song.
The best way to sum up “How Country Feels,” is that the album feels great. Houser’s third major release should prove to be the charm and propel him to permanent headliner status by the end of the year and garner him a handful of music awards.
