When it comes to southern rock, nobody did it quite like The Outlaws. Their iconic triple guitar attack ushered in an age of guitar harmonies that had never been heard before and rock fans around the world instantly fell in love with the sound. It’s been almost forty years since the band traveled to Germany for the very first time, playing a festival at the Rockpalast in Lorelei. To commemorate this historic event and to give fans of the band a chance to own a bit of musical history, The Outlaws have released a new Live CD/DVD “The Outlaws-Live at Rockpalast 1981.” The vintage video gives an inside look at the show from a fan’s perspective and the entire band set is included. To find out all the details, BackstageAxxess had the chance to catch up with guitarist Freddie Salem and travel back in time to that historic day. Please join us for a conversation with former Outlaws guitarist Freddie Salem.
