Todd Rundgren Interview

With a professional music career that has spanned over forty years, Todd Rundgren is rightfully dubbed a “legend” for both his recording career with bands like Nazz and Utopia, and production credits including classic albums from Meat Loaf, Badfinger, XTC and Cheap Trick to name a few.
In 2010, Todd Rundgren showed no signs of slowing down, touring in support of his upcoming album of blues legend Robert Johnson songs and then embarking on a short tour this fall where he plays two of his classic albums in their entirety, “Todd” and “Healing.”
During his stop in Buffalo, NY, as part of his “Todd Rundgren’s Johnson” tour, Todd spoke to Backstageaxxess.com about his upcoming “Todd/Healing” shows, why he does not play keyboards live anymore, and his thoughts on whether he should be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
