The Italian Leather Sofa- Revisted

Rik Emmett and Dave Dunlop have been collaborating for close to 17 years now, so we decided it was about time to interview the duo, side by side, for a fun and informative conversation. The boys discussed their current project,” ReCOVERy Room9,” which is a collection of 9 cover songs they chose to record, along with an upcoming release that will feature a full length CD of Triumph classics, performed in an acoustic format. We also touched on Rik’s most recent gig, one that doesn’t revolve much around the guitar, but more so with rattles, bottles, and funny faces. Rik became a Grandpa about 3 months ago and beamed with pride as he expressed his amazement at all of the new things he is witnessing his grandson discover. So join us, as we return to the slippery slope of the leather sofa inside the Seneca Niagara Casino, for some jocular jousting with Rik Emmett & Dave Dunlop.

We would like to thank Rick Wharton for setting up the interview with Rik and Dave. For more information on The Troubs, please go to: The Troubs.
