It’s always a treat when Doro tours the US. Personally, I look forward to not only seeing an amazing show (which Doro delivers every time), but also to saying hello to one of the most genuine artists on the planet.
We had an interview lined up with Doro months is advance but Doro got sick a few days before the show and was canceling all of her interviews. To me, still seeing Doro live was worth the hour and half drive through a snowstorm. We’ve always had a great relationship with Doro as I have interviewed her a handful of times over the years since 2007.
When we arrived at the venue, Doro being as gracious as she always is, decided to do the interview and it turned out great as you will see. We talked about her new CD “Raise Your Fist” and how it all came together. We also talked about how she got Lemmy to appear on the disc.
