Richie Faulkner (Judas Priest) Interview

One of the most influential movements in rock music was the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Circa 1983 and metal fans were “Screaming for Vengeance” as Judas Priest took things to a completely new level. With the larger than life frontman Rob Halford and the twin guitar attack of Glenn Tipton and K.K. Downing, they quickly rose to the status of legends in the metal community. But with the retirement of K.K. Downing in 2011, the future of Priest was in doubt. The band brought on an extraordinary axeman in Richie Faulkner and forged onward with their mission of metal. With a new album, “Redeemer of Souls,” climbing up the charts and a world tour underway, Judas Priest is bigger than ever. I had the chance to chat with newest member, guitarist Richie Faulkner, and catch up on all things Priest. Please join us for all the details.
