Randy Blythe (Lamb of God) Interview

July 2015 was a very busy month for Lamb of God front man Randy Blythe. Not only has the band just released its 7th record titled VII: Sturm und Drung,” he also released his first autobiography “Dark Days” on Da Capo Press. Blythe puts pen to paper for this massive autobiography that takes you through every detail of his arrest in the Czech Republic. All of the questions everyone has had since this nightmare occurred are answered in this tell all book. Blythe made a point to be as detailed as possible and he did a great job in doing so. I ask him questions about the lack of US government involvement. We also chat about other parts of his stay at the prison called Pankrac.

In addition to questions about the book, we talk about the new record, the naming of it and the decision to do clean vocals on the track “Overlord.” Plus we talk about Randy’s passion of photography and his love of riding the waves as well. Randy is very well read and a pleasure to talk to. It was the hottest day on record and we enjoyed sitting in the shade and shooting the poop.

It’s a pleasure to present to you a candid conversation with Randy Blythe of Lamb of God.
