In the early ’80s there was no bigger influence in glam punk rock than the Finnish rockers Hanoi Rocks. Their charismatic frontman Michael Monroe was “the” face of the 80’s rock scene and paved the way for future bands like Motley Crue and Guns ‘N’ Roses. He had a style all his own and an energetic attitude to match. Michael is not only a vocalist but a multi-instrumentalist pulling out his blues harp and saxophone at live shows to the delight of his fans. He’s been busy with a brand new solo record “Blackout States” but took the time to talk with us and fill us in on everything that he’s been up to. Please join us for a chat with one of rock’s liveliest, Michael Monroe.
We would like to thank Amy Sciarretto from Atom Splitter PR and Jon Freeman of Freeman Promotions for setting up the interview with Michael. For more information on Michael Monroe including info on the new disc “Blackout States,” please go to: Michael Monroe.
