Guitarist Andy Timmons first popped up on my musical radar wih the glam metal band Danger Danger and their big hit “Bang Bang.” In the late 80’s and early 90’s, he was touring the world opening for the likes of KISS and Alice Cooper but his talent goes way beyond what you may have heard on the radio or seen in videos on MTV. With a jazz guitar background and a signature Ibanez guitar in hand , he has been a sought after session player working with everyone from Simon Phillips and Kip Winger to Olivia Newton -John. His solo career has flourished over the years and the Andy Timmons Band has just released a brand new album of soulful instrumental tracks titled “Theme From A Perfect World.”
