Although it may not seem like it, spring is just around the corner. Before we know it, the weather will be getting a little bit warmer, people will be getting a little bit happier, and music lovers across the country will be getting geared up for festival season. While festival attendees are anxiously awaiting another opportunity to see their favorite bands, the work behind the scenes continues. It takes a ton of effort and a dedicated staff of experts to put on a major rock festival and nobody does that better than AEG Live Presents. In partnership with Danny Wimmer Presents, AEG is responsible for bringing us “The World’s Loudest Month” which includes major festivals Carolina Rebellion and Rock on the Range. As soon as a festival is over, the planning stages for the following year are already starting to take root. BackstageAxxess had the unique opportunity to speak with one of the best in the festival business, Joe Litvag of AEG Live Presents to find out exactly what goes on behind the scenes to make these festivals happen.
