In 2015 Red Sun Rising took the rock scene by storm with their full length debut album “Polyester Zeal.” The record was in heavy rotation on satellite radio and spawned back to back number ones on the rock charts with “The Other Side” and “Emotionless.” The band hit the road for relentless touring including stops at major U.S. rock festivals like Carolina Rebellion and Rock on the Range. Red Sun Rising is about to release their follow up record “Thread” and is once again ready to tour with headlining dates, support dates for The Used, and more major festival appearances lined up. BackstageAxxess had the opportunity to chat with lead vocalist Mike Protich and find out about the making of the new record as well as the details on their upcoming tour dates.
