Shim Moore Interview

Australian musician Shim Moore is  best known as being the front man and a founding member of the rock band Sick Puppies where he handled lead vocals, guitar, and a majority of the songwriting.  The band began to make its mark on the rock world and achieved commercial success with its 2009 album “Tri-Polar” which spawned radio hits “You’re Going Down” and “Riptide.”  Shim parted ways with the band back in 2014 and is stepping out on his own with the recent release of his first solo album.  His debut  record, the self-titled “Shim,” is a combination of hard hitting rockers and great melodies and  has already garnered a hit single with the song “Hallelujah.” BackstageAxxess had the opportunity to chat with Shim and get all the details on his new solo venture including tour plans, his sock puppet parody video and what the future may hold.
