Inspired by the magic of Christmastime in New York, Christmas In The City marked Pentatonix’s eighth Christmas album and expanded the group’s signature sound with a warm, jazzy holiday spirit woven throughout Yuletide standards and new originals. Pentatonix first previewed the deluxe edition with lead single “Get Happy / Happy Days Are Here Again” and its accompanying music video, followed by their rendition of “Believe,” the beloved holiday classic from The Polar Express, alongside a music video of its own. The expanded album also features seven live songs, recorded from the road last year, capturing the dynamic performances that have become a hallmark of Pentatonix as they prepare to return to arenas across North America on their 2026 Christmas In The City Tour.
“I can’t wait for everyone to hear the deluxe version of this album! A few of my highlights include the collaboration with multi-talented vocal group säje on ‘Man With The Bag’ and ‘Get Happy / Happy Days Are Here Again,’ the duet between Kirstin and me that originally started as a viral clip of ours on TikTok,” says founding member Mitch Grassi. “I’m so excited to extend the Christmas in the City fantasy and celebrate the holidays with the fans on tour.”
Originally released in 2025, Christmas In The City debuted at No. 6 on Billboard’s Top Holiday Albums chart, becoming Pentatonix’s 11th consecutive Top 10 album. The collection features their reimagined “I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm” with Frank Sinatra, which became the group’s first No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart. The song spent two weeks at No. 1, marking Sinatra’s first chart-topper on the ranking since 1967.
Christmas In The City (Deluxe) caps a dynamic year for Pentatonix that also saw the release of their first non-holiday single in five years, “Heaven On Earth,” followed by July’s “Sacrifice.” The tracks continued the group’s ongoing collaboration with GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Poo Bear, pairing Pentatonix’s iconic harmonies with cinematic pop production.
Next week, Pentatonix will launch their massive 28-date Christmas In The City Tour, bringing their celebrated holiday show to arenas across North America beginning November 5 at the Tacoma Dome. The seven-week run will take the group through an entirely new set of markets from last year’s tour and will also see Pentatonix return to Fort Worth, TX, for a special encore performance at Dickies Arena and bring their holiday show to Canada for the first time with stops in Vancouver, BC, and Hamilton, ON. The tour will culminate on December 22 at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum, marking the group’s first-ever holiday show in Los Angeles. Tickets and additional information are available at PTXOfficial.com.

About Pentatonix
As one of the most innovative, inventive, and inimitable vocal groups of all time, Pentatonix reimagine, reinvigorate, and redefine a cappella. Since emerging in 2011, the three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning and Daytime EMMY® Award-nominated vocal quintet—Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola, and Matt Sallee—have reached unprecedented heights, toppling charts, selling 10 million albums worldwide, generating billions of streams, and performing everywhere from The White House, The Empire State Building, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade to The Hollywood Bowl. Their catalog boasts back-to-back #1 albums on the Billboard 200—namely the gold-certified Pentatonix [2015] and platinum-certified A Pentatonix Christmas [2016]—and has amassed 30 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Internationally, their releases performed equally as well with five albums being certified gold, platinum, or double platinum in Canada and ranking in the Top 40 albums six times in New Zealand. Their single, “Hallelujah” also achieved international success as a platinum-certified single in Canada and gold-certified in Germany and Switzerland. They notably made history as “the first a cappella act to win ‘Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella’ at the GRAMMY® Awards” in 2015 and 2016. A year later, they earned another GRAMMY® Award in the category “Best Country Duo/Group Performance” for their duet with Dolly Parton on her song “Jolene.”
Along the way, the collective also graced the stage of The Kennedy Center Honors for Tom Hanks, covering “That Thing You Do” as President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama watched from the crowd. They have collaborated with Kelly Clarkson, Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus, and Lindsey Stirling, to name a few. Beyond standout awards show and late-night television appearances, Pentatonix leapt onto the big screen with a cameo in the blockbuster Pitch Perfect 2. They have supported organizations such as Make-A-Wish, Do it for the Love Foundation, and more. The quintet reached milestone after milestone with 2021’s Evergreen and 2022’s Holidays Around The World, with each album and accompanying tour setting new records for Pentatonix. In 2023, the group received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame before closing out the year with a North American Christmas Tour in support of their holiday greatest hits album, The Greatest Christmas Hits. In 2024, Pentatonix starred in the #1 Netflix holiday romcom, Meet Me Next Christmas. Their 2025 album, Christmas in the City, debuted at #6 on Billboard’s Top Holiday Albums chart, becoming their 11th consecutive Top 10 album and maintaining a perfect track record of Top 10 debuts. The album features their reimagined “I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm” with Frank Sinatra, which became the group’s first #1 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart, spending two weeks at #1 and marking Sinatra’s first #1 on the chart since 1967, as well as the first posthumous artist to top the chart in the 21st century. In 2026, Pentatonix ushered in a new chapter with the release of original music, including “Heaven On Earth” and “Sacrifice,” created with GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Poo Bear. This fall, Pentatonix will expand Christmas in the City, with a deluxe edition arriving October 30. The band will also return to the road with a new leg of their massively successful Christmas In The City Tour, bringing their signature holiday show to 28 arenas across North America this November and December.
