As Alice Cooper gears up to release his new memoir “Devil on my Shoulder,” he and his band closed out this current leg of dates on the “Alice’s Attic Tour” with a sold-out show at the OLG Stage in Niagara Falls, Ontario. It’s been almost a year since that we saw Alice Cooper (Cooper review 2025). This time around, there have been a few lineup changes. Both longtime bassist Chuck Garic and guitarist Nita Strauss both missed this show. Chris Wyse stepped in on bass and young English guitarist Anna Cara filled in on guitar.
This set didn’t change too much since our review last October; outside of a few songs. “Billion-Dollar Babies” and “Under my Wheels” made it back into the setlist. They also did a cover of Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit,” in which Cooper dedicated to Kurt (Cobain). I’m not sure if the latter worked but I can this was fantastic setlist overall! Maybe the best I have ever seen since I have been seeing him live over the last 30 plus years. My biggest takeaway from the Cooper set is how they incorporated 22 songs (and a guitar solo) into an hour half set. They really have this show down to science even with the new musicians who are currently filling in. Yes, the guillotine was still there as it was mixed into with “Brutal Planet.” That precision and delivery of the songs showed the true musicianship and professionalism the band brings day in and day out. You can never get enough Alice Cooper live and by the sold out show this past Tuesday night, 5,000 other fans felt the same way. Rest assured you can count on a few things in life; death, taxes and a great Alice Cooper show!
